CellSearch - Circulating Tumor Cell Test |
Effective Serial Monitoring of CTCs
The CellSearch™ Circulating Tumor Cell Test identifies circulating tumor cells (CTCs) in patients with metastatic breast, colorectal and prostate cancer throughout the continuum of care. Serial testing and monitoring of CTCs, used in conjunction with a physical examination, complete medical history and other clinical methods such as imaging, provide the most accurate assessment of disease status.
- CellSearch predicts disease progression and regression at any time during therapy
- Changes in the CTC counts can be observed as early as the first cycle of treatment
- CTC counts can help physicians evaluate patient prognosis earlier
