 The 2012 MPLN Relay for Life team had an outstanding year! Thanks to the generosity of MPLN employees, family, and friends, as well as on-site fundraising at the Blount County Relay for Life, our team of 12 was able to raise $2098.54 for the American Cancer Society. The mission of MPLN – our dedication to “make a difference in patient care by delivering the best technologies and services in laboratory medicine” – goes hand-in-hand with the mission of the American Cancer Society to “prevent cancer, save lives, and diminish suffering from cancer, through research, education, advocacy, and service.” We look forward to participating in future Relay for Life events and further supporting the American Cancer Society! - Katy Large, 2012 team captain
