Hepatitis C Quantitation and Genotyping |
|
MPLN uniquely reports patient viral load data in a historical context, along with ALT levels to provide a dynamic assessment of patient outcomes over time. When the presence of Hepatitis C (HCV) is interpreted in conjunction with HCV serology and liver function, acute (active) infection can be distinguished from chronic viremia.

Determining HCV genotype is clinically significant for the selection of anti-viral therapy dosage and treatment interval.
