Tuesday, 19 January 2010 14:38

The American Cancer Society has implemented "I Can Cope," an online program providing practical tools and information for individuals and families affected by cancer.

The online courses will offer relevant information on a cancer diagnosis and provide applicable tools patients can use to help overcome their emotional and physical challenges. Those individuals who are too sick to attend support groups or educational classes will now be able to participate online.

I Can Cope topics will cover all aspects of cancer, from managing side effects to dealing with self-esteem.  The program is free of charge.  For more information about I Can Cope, call 1-800-227-2345 or visit cancer.org/onlinearticles.
