Bone Marrow Morphology and Testing

• Collection kit for pathology, flow cytometry, cytogenetics, FISH and molecular diagnostics
• MPLN RPMI tissue transport medium - standard 10mL tube for use when a drytap is encountered

Fine Needle Aspirates and Tissue Biopsies

• MPLN RPMI tissue transport medium - standard 10mL tube
• MPLN RPMI tissue transport medium - small (FNA) 3mL tube

CellSearch

• Two CellSave preservative tubes per specimen. 

CT/NG Testing

Specimen collection containers are provided for Chlamydia Trachomatis (CT) and Neisseria Gonorrhoeae (NG)

• Pour-off Gen-Probe Aptima green tube for liquid cytology specimens
• Gen-Probe Aptima® unisex swab collection kit (Blue swabs)
• Aptima urine collection tube kit (yellow tube). Urine can also be collected in the primary collection container

Infectious Disease Testing

Specimens for infectious disease testing, excluding CT/NG, can be collected with:

• MPLN pathogen collection kit (swab with transport medium)
• PPT specimen collection tube (HIV specimens only)
• Digene HPV DNA cervical swab collection kit
